2nd Edition of the Paris Peace Forum
the 2nd Edition of the Paris Peace Forum which will take place on 11-13 November 2019 in Paris (https://parispeaceforum.org/). A Call for Projects has been launched towards all actors of global governance to bring concrete and innovative solutions that tackle global challenges and to present them at this event.
The Paris Peace Forum is centered on those who seek to develop concrete and innovative solutions for today’s transborder challenges.
Every year, a Call for Projects is launched to showcase and support normative projects (instruments of law, standards and good practices) as well as capacity-building projets (new institutions, mechanisms and innovations) in 6 major themes:
- Peace & security
- New technologies
- Inclusive Economy
- Culture & education (new)
This Call for Projects is open to all actors of global governance, such as international organisations, non-governmental organisations, states, companies, foundations, development agencies, religious groups, associations, think tanks and universities.
All public and private organisations around the world are invited to bring their projects and initiatives to showcase them.
To be eligible, projects must meet several eligibility criteria:
- Be presented by an organisation and not an individual
- Be carried by a team that can send at least two people to Paris
- Propose a concrete solution to address a transnational challenge or issue
- Be linked to at least one of the 6 major themes
- Propose a cooperative approach
- Present a certain level of progress
At this annual event, selected project leaders will have the opportunity to increase the visibility of their solutions, benefiting from the number of visitors as well as the international media coverage of the event.
They will also be able to test their projects in front of diverse audience, through a pitch presentation, as part of debate or by scheduling meetings with other participant at their stands.
They will get a chance to connect with potentiel partners, such as high-level representatives of States and International Organizations officials, directors of NGOs or companies, philanthropists, experts and journalists.
