FAC Conferences : refugees and migration policies. French and Australian perspectives. [fr]

"France Australian Conversation" conference-debate series (FAC) in partnership with The Conversation.

Catherine Wihtol de Wenden, Director of research at CNRS and Professor at Sciences Po Paris, will be in Australia from 25 to 29 November 2019 for a series of conference-debates.

These events, intended for the general public as well as for experts, will be an opportunity to discuss issues of international migration: protection and integration, responsibilities when dealing with refugees, public policies and impacts on international relations.

In the spirit of the "FAC" conference cycle, they will offer an opportunity to cross French and Australian points of view on these issues shared by our two countries.

Catherine Wihtol de Wenden is a specialist in international migration, which she has worked on extensively over the past twenty years, conducted numerous field studies, and directed different comparative research. She has been a consultant to the OECD, the Council of Europe, the European Commission and an "external expert" to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She is also a member of the National Commission of Ethics for Security.

All these conferences are free.
