National Multicultural Festival 2020: a new success story
The National Multicultural Festival took place from 21 to 23 February 2020 in Canberra. The Embassy of French in Australia participated in this 5th edition alongside the Alliance Française de Canberra and the European Delegation.
As every year, the Embassy of French in Australia participated to the National Multicultural Festival. Present on February 22nd at Bunda Street in the European Union village, this event was an opportunity to talk about our culture, exchange with the public and discover the regions of France.
For this new edition, we have tried to organize activities and animations throughout the day to satisfy the youngest and the oldest.
On the program:
A wine and viennoiserie tasting
A scavenger hunt in Canberra
A map of France to fill in with cities, monuments and culinary specialities
with the possibility to win:
1 year membership at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
2 tickets for Matisse & Picasso exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra
3 pass "2 for 1" for the Alliance Française French Film Festival
1 gourmet humper
1 voucher "French for Travellers intensive 3-day course" at the Alliance Française de Canberra to learn French
Once again this year, we managed to exchange as much as possible with the public about everything France has to offer in terms of tourism and landscapes, but also about opportunities for students with the Campus France programme.
The Embassy of France in Australia is proud to have participated in this event which brings together and celebrates multiculturalism and honours each country. We look forward to seeing you next year.
Once again, we would like to thank all our partners for their participation and kindness: M.Chapoutier Australia, Saucissons Australia by La Bastide, France at Home, La Truffière, la baguette by R&M, National Gallery of Australia, Les Eclaireurs de Canberra, Alliance Française French Film Festival and the Alliance Française de Canberra.
