New lockdown in France

On Wednesday, October 29th the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron announced a new lockdown starting Friday, October 30th for a minimum of four weeks.

Schools, colleges and high schools will remain open. Regarding higher education, all lectures and tutorials will now be in distance learning except for some practical work.
Work may continue, but remote working is compulsory wherever possible.

The Aged care homes will remain open for visits.

All travel will be limited to 1 km around his home and a certificate will be required for all travel.
The internal borders within the European union are open. The external borders remain closed barring some exception.
French citizens living abroad are of course free to return to France as well as Foreigners living in France.

A negative test of less than 72 hours is mandatory to enter the country.
For those who cannot justify this negative test upon arrival, a virological screening test will be performed upon arrival at the airport.
