The Franco-Australian Association for Research and Innovation (AFRAN) promotes the development of reserach and innovation cooperation between France and Australia.
Mission of AFRAN:
The principal goal of the association is to support the community of researchers, industry players, community stakeholders and policy makers who are involved in existing research and innovation bilateral collaborations or who seek ways to develop new initiatives of interest for our two countries.
AFRAN is the result of a fusion of the French Researchers in Australia Network (FRAN), a group created in 2012 by the Embassy of France in Australia, with the Australian-French Association for Science and Technologie (AFAS ACT Inc).
