Travelling to France from Australia : update (July 2nd)

Starting from July 1st, France will open its borders to travellers coming from Australia.


Rules regarding visas will stay the same :

-  If your citizenship status and the length of your stay allow you to come to France without a visa, it is still the case.

Disclaimer : the Consulate-General of France in Sydney has resumed its visa activity for the following categories only :

-  Students (short and long stay)
-  Business travellers (long stay)
-  Travelling for family reasons (long stay)

No other type of visa enquiry will be processed.

Australian citizens and permanent residents are not currently allowed to leave Australia. If your situation requires you to travel, you must submit a request to the Department of Home Affairs.
