Commemorations of 11 November 2021

Today the Embassy of France organized a ceremony for Remembrance Day to honour all the service men and service women who sacrificed for our freedom. French and Australian soldiers fought alongside in Gallipoli and in Somme, both with severe casualties. These bonds are enduring and will never be forgotten.

We were honored to receive wreaths from the RSL and the diplomatic missions of Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.
